A new art studio offering a variety of arts and crafts, including pottery by hand, opens in Port Washington.
Now open in Port Washington, Piece of my Art offers a new twist on  traditional children's arts and crafts. Owner Vinessa Manfre fires all of the pottery by hand and provides unique services for her clients to make their experience faster and more enjoyable. Her newest service, "Make n Take," features a unique glaze that allows painted pottery to dry before the end of a session.
Piece of my Art is suitable for all ages, and Manfre emphasizes that it is for all occasions, including birthday parties, bridal showers, and even relaxing evenings for parents. In the near future, Piece of my Art is set to include even more services, including beading, candle making, and glass fusing.
