Art Studio E Introduces New Summer Camps in July

This summer, from the first week of July through the last week of August, Art Studio E will be offering nine weeks of fine art camps for three different age groups from Tuesday-Friday. There will be three different camp sessions depending on age. Children ages 5-8 will meet from 9am-12pm and learn mostly introductory skills including sewing, painting, drawing, nature-inspired crafts, and hand building for clay. Tweens ages 9-12 will meet from 12:15-3:15pm and will begin to dive into specializations such as “throwing” on a pottery wheel, drawing, painting, comics, and polymer clay.

Teens ages 13-17 will meet for a longer session from 10am-2pm and focus more on preparing portfolios for fine arts higher education programs and colleges. The teen camp will meet for only six weeks, and it is encouraged that students attend all six weeks to reap the most benefits from the Portfolio Prep Program.

For all age groups, topics will vary from week to week. One week may be focused clay immersion, while the next explores painting techniques. Students can pick and choose which camps they attend, with special discounted rates for attending all nine weeks of camp. Registration is held on a rolling basis until each session has reached maximum capacity. Check the Studio E website for upcoming discounts and coupon codes.
