North Shore Day Camp's full-day, 4, 6 or 8 week sessions for children ages 2 1⁄2 to 15 offer outstanding athletics, electives, on-campus golf, adventure program of high ropes, zip-line, rock climbing walls, go-carts and mountain biking, tennis, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, fine arts, performing arts, computers, cooking, woodworking, ceramics, Red Cross swim instruction in four heated pools and teen travel programs. North Shore is committed to small groups having exceptional supervision. Pre-schoolers are nestled in our state-of-the-art village on their own part of our campus. Door-to-door Air-conditioned buses bring campers from Manhattan, Nassau County and Queens to bring campers to our 14-acre Gold Coast estate overlooking Long Island Sound. Nutritional lunches and snacks are included. Our highly trained and experienced leadership team is a dedicated group of adults that return year after year. Paula Rothman is the full-time owner and director and has been at the helm since the camp�s inception. Her extensive experience as a day camp and school director and her work with preschool through teenage children make her a valuable friend and advisor to our families. Our camp mission of teaching children the skills of making and keeping friends, while building self-esteem and self-confidence is the focus that has helped us create a caring community for campers aged 3-14.
