CLASSES/PROGRAMS-ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT/LANGUAGE
Keen Kids is a new, exciting reading program geared for four and five-year-olds who want to get a jump-start into reading. Based on research-validated strategies, the program addresses each of the five, essential reading components: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. Lessons are carefully sequenced and are multi-sensory, cumulative and explicit. Critical thinking, speaking and listening skills are practiced during story time activities. Classes are offered once or twice weekly in morning or afternoon sessions. Call or email Director Rhonda, a professional teacher who works with both gifted and learning different children.
