WHERE: Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library, Port Chester-Rye Brook Library, 1 Haseco Ave, Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library, Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library

WHAT:

The Grab & Go April Craft Celebrates National Library Week!  Children will be given a bag with all of the pieces they need to make the craft.  *While supplies last.  This program is sponsored by The Klein Foundation.  Sign up in person or over the phone.

Easter Egg Hunt

WHEN: Saturday, Apr. 1
WHERE: Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard, 130 Hardscrabble Road, Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard, Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard

WHAT:

Children 8 years and younger are invited to participate in this Egg hunt where they will get an egg carton for collecting eggs, a set of bunny ears, and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Age groups will be 3 and younger, 4-6 years, and 7-8 years. Please select the appropriate age slot for your child when purchasing your ticket.

Something Fishy for April Fools

WHEN: Saturday, Apr. 1
WHERE: Teatown Lake Reservation, 1600 Spring Valley Road, Teatown Lake Reservation, Teatown Lake Reservation

WHAT:

Join Early Childhood Art Educator Caroline Erb to learn the fascinating history behind the most mischievous holiday: April Fools’ Day. Find out what fish have to do with it while making aquatic art. This program also involves a short, steep walk to Vernay Lake, so come to craft, but please dress for the weather. 


Limited to six families/time slot
No more than five family members/family

WHAT:

Every weekend we offer a special story time for our visitors of all ages. This month we are reading stories and picture books that celebrate nature and the environment in celebration of Earth Day

Included with Museum admission

Opening Day! FREE

WHERE: Hammond Museum, 28 Deveau Rd, Hammond Museum, Hammond Museum

WHAT:

Visit on opening day to enjoy free admission and see three new exhibitions that will be on display in the museum. Early spring flowers and colors will grace the Japanese-inspired garden, and there will be a variety of fun activities and tours for all ages. Chick’s Candy Store will provide the day with wonderful music.
