The Center for Integrative & Innovative Therapies Opens in Plainview

The CIIT Center opened an advanced treatment center for people with autism spectrum disorder in Nassau County.

The Center for Integrative & Innovative Therapies (The CIIT Center) opened an advanced treatment center on Long Island, which offers treatments and therapies for people with autism spectrum disorder all under one roof. It opened in January in Plainview.

The CIIT Center’s comprehensive approach starts with identifying the underlying factors that may be holding a child back, not just treating their symptoms.

“Our group of dedicated and experienced professionals have developed cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment methods to improve functionality and quality of life in children, adolescents, and adults afflicted with autism spectrum disorder,” says Donna Iannucci, the director of marketing for The CIIT Center.

Michael Gruttadauria, D.C., is leading the team of experts at the facility, which includes doctors, neurologists, neuropsychologists, nutritionists, and therapists.

The staff use an arsenal of state-of-the-art tests to develop comprehensive and advanced treatment and therapy programs. They work in unison to create individualized treatment programs for children with developmental disabilities.

The CIIT Center’s goal is to enhance the biomedical, neurological, nutritional, electrical, and immune systems of each of its patients, through applied behavioral analysis as well as occupational, physical, and speech therapies; nutritional counseling; and new advance treatments through neurology, functional neurology, sensory integration, and more.
